To Apply
The application deadline for singers, pianists, and stage directors has passed. Applications for the conductor position are now available.
Submit the following materials in one packet to the address
below:

Application form. (Adobe
Acrobat Reader required.)
08-09 app for conductors

Resume.
-
Three letters of recommendation. Ask three professionals
in the field of opera with whom you have worked (a director,
conductor, coach, or teacher) to write a letter of recommendation.
Letters should be sent in the same package as
your application materials.

CONDUCTORS
should submit a video recording (preferably DVD) of a performance of either opera
or symphonic work with voice that they have conducted.

$30 application fee (money order or cashier's
check) made payable to Washington National Opera.

Copy of passport or birth certificate.
All materials should be postmarked by January 31, 2008
