Production Underwriting
What would Washington National Opera be without its world class productions? Over the last 50 years WNO has established a solid reputation for producing high caliber operas in the nation’s capital. Productions are always the most important element to the company’s success and funding for these productions is vital.
In order to produce operas at the level General Director Plácido Domingo envisions, the opera relies heavily on its partnerships with individuals, corporations and foundations.
With the help of its partners WNO brings to stage today’s and tomorrow’s biggest and brightest stars.
When an organization underwrites productions it not only aligns itself with a world class opera company, but is given important name recognition. Benefits for underwriting plays may include, but are not limited to acknowledgement with a corporate logo to appear on materials related to the production, including brochures, banners, invitations, press releases, flyers, subscription offers, season books, as well as being listed as a partner in WNO’s general materials at the appropriate level. Benefits may also include priority seating for the production, invitations to the cast party or special receptions, and invitations to attend other WNO events.
