Access to Opera $25 Tickets

Washington National Opera is pleased to announce a ticket subsidy program to provide even greater access to opera.  Starting in September, 50 tickets to two weekday performances of every opera in the 2007-2008 season will be available for only $25.  Tickets will be sold in person on a first-come basis at the Kennedy Center Box Office at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the performance.  Limit two tickets per person.

The new initiative is generously underwritten by the Washington National Opera Board of Trustees.  The reduced priced tickets are available to everyone: there are no restrictions.  The program is the latest way that Washington National Opera is reaching out to the public and making opera available to everyone.
